Dr. Travis Schaar and his wife Toni contemplated opening a full-service pet lodging facility in Victoria, TX for many years. They dreamed of a state-of-the-art facility where pets vacation while their families are away or just away for the day.
Another important part of The Pet Resort on Main is a quality Dog Daycare program. Veterinarians are often asked how to help behavioral problems. Dogs are social beings and often get bored or lonely when left at home by themselves all day. Dr. Travis has seen many amazing successes of how Dog Daycare has changed ill-mannered and destructive behaviors. Instead of worrying about your dog while you’re at work or running errands, quality dog daycare provides a special environment with safe play time while stimulating both the physical and mental needs of dogs.

Dr. Schaar is the head veterinarian at the Main Street Animal Hospital and has been a practicing veterinarian for over 30 years. But just as critical as quality veterinary care was ensuring all pet parents have complete peace of mind that their furry family members are well cared for when they’re away.
